Oligonucleotide
Screening Services
Smart, scalable screens for siRNA and ASO Therapeutics
We don’t just generate sequences—we validate them.
High-throughput screening of siRNAs and antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs) is critical to identify the most potent candidates, confirm sequence-specific knockdown, and determine key pharmacologic parameters such as IC₅₀ values. Without systematic screening, even well-designed oligos risk underperforming in cellular systems.

Quantitative Gene Expression via qPCR
Using TaqMan probes with custom probe design available for specialized targets

Reporter-Based Knockdown
Utilizing the dual-luciferase psiCHECK system for validated knockdown assessment

Protein Quantification
Comprehensive analysis by ELISA or Western blot for complete validation

RNA-seq through our partners
Supporting transcriptome validation and comprehensive off-target assessment
If you have custom needs or an unconventional readout, we’re happy to help design the appropriate assay or coordinate with a specialty partner.
Custom Assay Development and Oligo Design
In addition to screening client-supplied oligos, we offer full-service oligonucleotide design and synthesis services. Our proprietary siRNA design algorithm—one of the first developed globally—is capable of generating hundreds of candidate sequences that can be systematically screened to validate their knockdown potency. We also maintain an in-house ASO design pipeline capable of incorporating homology filters, off-target reduction, and format-specific design constraints.
Whether you’re knocking down endogenous targets or using plasmid-based constructs, we can generate the necessary tools and controls to execute the screen.

Diverse Applications, Disease-Agnostic Approach
Our screening platform supports clients across diverse areas of RNA therapeutics and functional genomics. Typical applications include therapeutic lead identification, tool compound development, delivery system validation, and cross-species reactivity testing.

Disease Area Expertise
Capabilities across neurological, cardiac, metabolic, oncological, and immunological disease models

Specialized Cell Types
Proficiency with sensitive and hard-to-transfect cell types, including ocular tissues, primary neurons, and cardiomyocytes

Custom Assay Design
Extensive experience designing tailored assays that enable accurate and reproducible readouts
